SMART is an acronym that stands for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound. Let's take a closer look:

  • Achievable: Your goal should be realistic and attainable. While it's great to aim high, setting an impossible goal can lead to frustration. Consider your current fitness level and what you can realistically accomplish with effort and dedication.

  • Relevant: Ensure your goal aligns with your broader objectives and values. It should be relevant to your life and genuinely matter to you. Ask yourself why this goal is important and how it fits into your overall well-being.

  • Time-bound: Set a specific timeframe for achieving your goal. This adds a sense of urgency and helps prevent procrastination.
